12-15 June - PRIME/SMACD 2022

General information

17th International Conference on PhD Research in Microelectronics and Electronics (PRIME)

website: http://prime-conference.org/

PRIME 2022 will be held in presence (provided that the Covid-19 pandemic situation allows it) at Tanka Village in Villasimius, Sardinia, Italy and will be co-located with SMACD 2022. PRIME has been established over the recent years as an important conference where PhD students and post-docs with less than one year post-PhD experience can present their research results and network with experts from industry, academia and research.

The main goals of the conference are:
to encourage favourable exposure to PhD students in the early stages of their careers
to benchmark PhD research in a friendly and cooperative environment
to enable sharing of student and supervisor experiences of scientific and engineering research
to connect PhD students and their supervisors with companies and research centres

PRIME 2022 will feature a conference program reflecting the wide spectrum of research topics in Microelectronics and Electronics, building bridges between various research fields. In addition to the technical sessions, opportunities for the conference attendees will be the keynote talks, exhibits and social events. The conference is technically co-sponsored by IEEE and IEEE CAS and accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore's scope and quality requirements.

International Conference on Synthesis, Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Methods, and Applications to Circuit Design (SMACD)

Website: https://smacd-conference.org/

The 2022 edition of the International Conference on Synthesis, Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Methods, and Applications to Circuit Design (SMACD) will be held in Villasimius, Sardinia, Italy. SMACD is a forum devoted to modeling, simulation, and synthesis for Analog, Mixed-signal, RF (AMS/RF), and multi-domain (nanoelectronics, biological, MEMS, optoelectronics, etc.) integrated circuits and systems. Open-source tools and methods for AMS/RF and multi-domain IC design and experiences with modeling, simulation, and synthesis techniques in diverse application areas are also welcomed. Objective technologies include CMOS, beyond CMOS, and More-than-Moore such as MEMs, power devices, sensors, passives, etc.

SMACD 2022 is Technically Co-sponsored by IEEE, IEEE CEDA and IEEE CAS. The conference proceedings will be submitted for inclusion in IEEExplore.

SMACD 2022 will be co-located with the International Conference on PhD Research in Microelectronics and Electronics (PRIME 2022), bringing together well-known researchers, institutions and companies from the IC Design and EDA communities.
